Expertise and Experience

While the accounting firm is newly established, the Owner and Managing Member, Mary Ann Mendel, CPA, has over twenty-seven years of experience in the non-profit field. Mary Ann has been a Certified Public Accountant since September 1998 and the firm is registered in the AICPA Peer Review Program as required for assurance services. Professionally, she is a member of both the AICPA and the NYSSCPA and received a B.A. in accounting from Dowling College.

The firm has extensive knowledge and use of QuickBooks products and various general ledger software. We work with public charities, private schools, private foundations, churches, private social clubs, CIRA's, trusts and other charitable organizations and have over two decades of managerial and consulting experience in this highly specialized field.
